Juliann has joined the St. John family after 33 years of teaching in the public schools. She and her husband Michael are both graduates of Davison High School, as are their sons, Donovan and Christian. She is excited to be working in her hometown and blessed to be working with St. John's youngest children who are learning to love and loving to learn!
Teacher - 3 Year Olds
Tina joined our St. John family after teaching 25 years in Flint Schools. She just celebrated her silver wedding anniversary with her husband David. Tina has 2 children, Andrew who just graduated from Michigan Tech with a degree in Software Engineering, and Alyssa who attends Mott Community College pursuing a degree in Sign Language Interpreting. Tina is thrilled to be teaching St. John's youngest learners.
Assistant - 3 Year Olds
Patty has joined the St. John Preschools team after teaching music for almost 30 years. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Music Education degrees from Oakland University. She has been a St. John parishioner for 30 years. She is married and has 2 sons. Patty is excited to be working with the preschool children and to be a part of the St. John Preschools team!
Teacher - 4 Year Olds
Stacy has joined us bringing 26 years of experience in the early childhood field. Stacy has been married to her husband Mike for 24 years and has 2 boys Brian and Andrew. Having moved to Davison in 2017, she feels blessed to be returning to the classroom to work directly with young children and their families here at St. John Preschools.
Classroom Assistant - 4 Year Olds
Mariah graduated from Lapeer High School in 2017 and is currently studying Early Education at Mott Community College. She is a lifelong parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Mariah is excited to work with the children here at St. John Preschools.
GSRP Lead Teacher
Shelby is very excited to be the GSRP teacher at St. John Preschools. She has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching the HighScope curriculum for the past 5 years. She lives in Davison with her husband and their 9 month old son, dog and two cats and is a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
GSRP Associate Teacher
Emily graduated from Lakeville in 2016. She is currently a junior at Baker College and is studying Elementary Teacher Preparation for Early Childhood with a ZS Endorsement. When she graduates her dream job is to become an Early Intervention Specialist. Emily has always been very passionate about children and is excited to say this is her second year as an assistant teacher at St. John Preschools. She can’t wait to help the children at St. John Preschools learn, explore, and grow this year!
Before/After Care Program (Morning Caregiver)
We would like to welcome Gail as the morning caregiver for St. John Preschools Before/After Care program. As a hometown girl, Gail graduated from Davison High School, studied Business at Northwood University and retired after 30 years at Kettering University as the Manager of Cooperative Education. Gail has been a Parishioner for twenty-five years and loves to volunteer and stay active in the church. She serves as a Eucharistic Minister at our noon Mass and at Genesys. Gail has also worked bingo at St. John for sixteen years. Now, she is excited to be working with our little ones at St. John Preschools.
Before/After Care Program (Afternoon Caregiver)
Deb has been a Genesee County resident her entire life. She has lived in Davison since 1998 with her husband of 31 years. They have four grown children. She is a member of the St. John's choir and loves the outdoors. Bike riding, walking, and camping are her favorite activities.
Marsha Livingston is the secretary at St. John Preschools. She also substitutes in the classrooms as needed. Marsha started her employment at St. John Preschools in September 2016. She lives in the Lapeer area with her husband and three children. Her children attend Bishop Kelley Catholic School and Dryden High School. Marsha likes to spend her time spending her time with her family and volunteering.
